Was so taken by the divine and dainty(ish) bling worn by the even more divine and stylish @arossgirl , who could make bailing twine and barbwire look chic. Gorgeous scarabs, moonstones and opals by @darlenedesedle and other juicy grms from @pippasmalljewellery recently shot to fame in the favor of Meghan Markle Winsdor, Duchess of Sussex.

A re-fresh from a few weeks ago… Dried leaves and pods and pinecones mixed with a few greeens and the one gorgeous #distantdrummer rose I found bravely blooming. .

Am working away on next book #californiacookingandsouthernstyle and when my concentration wanes, I paint. This was from a photo I took a few years ago when His Grace and I visited this lovely vineyard and farm in Tuscany, whose proprietor was also winemaker and chef. I am missing her name alas, and the estate’s. If anyone recognizes this please lmk! 12 x 16, oil on canvas board. .

Yikes company coming for lunch and (finally) tossed every (dead) green thing in the house and need a centerpiece in10 minutes!!! 1. Go outside and cut stuff 2. Go to garage, shoo cats, sneeze, and get dried stuff from boxes 3. Fetch pheasants from basement 4.
