A beautiful fall day in East Hampton. My usual morning walk.
Heart-shaped leaves form a beautiful, natural pattern. Not sure what kind of tree this is. First one to ID it will win a nickel. Is it some kind of red bud?
Nothing special. Weeds, really.
Blink and you'd miss these beautiful tiny white blooms. Once again, a nickel to the person who identifies the plant.
But it makes me wonder what else there is out there for us if we will just open our eyes-and our hearts-to it.
While it's good to take time to smell the flowers, it's also good to find beauty among the weeds.
Hmmm. I’ll leave you with that. Have a great weekend.
